The Fibre
Alpaca accounts for only a small share of the world’s textile fibres. Adapted to the extremes of the Andean climate, its fleece provides natural insulation, offering considerable warmth without excessive weight. The finest grades combine fine fibres with a smooth surface, giving a softness comparable to cashmere.
